Verde Resorts offers a collection of eight luxury lodge resorts located throughout the UK. Our name, Verde, meaning ‘green’, reflects our commitment to renewal, wellbeing, and sustainability.

Our lodges have been designed to offer the perfect home-from-home.  Expect fully equipped kitchens, spacious open-plan living and dining areas, and comfortable bedrooms – ideal for family adventures, romantic getaways, or peaceful time in nature. At our golf resorts, you can choose between luxury lodge accommodation and refined hotel-style rooms created for comfort, convenience and complete relaxation.

All of our resorts are pet-friendly, meaning that every member of the family can enjoy a holiday in style.  And with locations nestled in beautiful countryside in England, Scotland and Wales, you can pack up the car and be with us in no time.

A rich heritage

Founded in 2025, Verde Resorts may be a new brand, but we have years of experience. Our resorts were previously part of Darwin Escapes, an operator which has changed the face of the holiday park industry in the UK.

While the resorts now operate independently, they continue to benefit from the expertise and heritage developed under Darwin Escapes.  The Verde Resorts brand reflects a renewed commitment to creating exceptional destinations that balance guest enjoyment with long-term environmental stewardship.

All of the Verde Resorts sites have been designed with our customers in mind, based on years of experience.  And they’re award-winning too!  Our resorts have won 11 prestigious Hoseasons awards and other accolades including Visit England’s Rose Award for Service Excellence 2026 (Rivendale), Scotland’s Best Golf Hotel (Dundonald Links) and Visit England 5 Star Gold Award (Stratford-upon-Avon).

Sustainability

Sustainability sits at the heart of Verde Resorts, guiding how we design, develop, and operate our destinations to protect the landscapes our guests come to enjoy.

When we develop a new lodge resort we aim to reduce its impact on its surroundings as much as we can and ensure that there is a Biodiversity Net Gain at each site.  To date, the resorts we have developed have achieved a BNG score of 14%, meaning that we have actively over-delivered on the statutory minimum level of 10%. 

Green technologies such as living roofs, combined heat and power systems, and wind catchers are incorporated into our central facilities buildings to help reduce carbon emissions. Our rental lodges are constructed to residential standards, ensuring high levels of energy efficiency and sustainability. All Verde Resorts locations provide electric vehicle charging points, while 89% of our fleet vehicles are powered by electricity, further supporting our commitment to reducing environmental impact.

Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat, which opened in 2023, is the UK’s first purpose-built all-electric lodge resort.  Air-source heat pumps are used in all lodges to provide heating and hot water, which saves approximately 16.5 tonnes of carbon emissions per year compared to gas boilers in lodges. 

Both Dundonald Links and The Springs have achieved GEO Certified status for their sustainability.  Awarded to only a small fraction of UK golf courses, this highly regarded sustainability distinction celebrates the their commitment to nature conservation and environmental wellness.
